At FIAULT INDUSTRIE, we are proud to announce the production of our first tow truck on an electric vehicle chassis: a Volvo FM Electric 19T deep cab. This development marks a significant change in the recovery and transport sector, by including solutions that better protect the environment.
Faced with changes in the market and new environmental regulations, it is becoming essential to adapt recovery vehicles to clean energy. This project has given us the opportunity to prove our ability to innovate by integrating electric technology while preserving the robustness and performance that characterise FIAULT INDUSTRIE equipment.
The design of this tow truck on a Volvo FM Electric required a number of adjustments in our workshops. Tailor-made training courses have been set up for our teams, enabling them to operate electric vehicles in complete safety, in strict compliance with the standards and protocols relating to these new engines.
